Where is my data stored?
All data is hosted exclusively in Switzerland, managed under strict privacy-by-design principles. Payment transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, meaning Smilu does not access or store your payment information. Apart from these external payment systems, all other app-related data remains managed on Swiss infrastructure — ensuring transparency, privacy, and trust at every step.
What happens to my chat?
During an active chat, your text is processed via secure Swiss servers to enable Smilu’s AI to respond in real-time. Once the conversation ends, your input is not stored, reused, or used to train any AI models. Smilu’s design ensures that your conversations remain private and temporary — only between you and the app.
Do I share personal info?
Smilu does not require any personal details for login or use. You can access the app with just a nickname and an email address, without sharing other identifying information. This design reflects Smilu’s commitment to offering a private, stigma-free, and comfortable space for self-reflection and everyday conversations.
